State of Vermont 1781 5 Shillings Fr. VT-4. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. A very deeply inked Vermont note from what we see. The note is about 80% present, rougher at the left and has antique hinge repairs on the back. The two signatures are very strongly penned. The center back details are bold as well. Noted with "Splits, Tears, and Damage; Hinge Repairs; Pieces Missing." This is overall a slightly better than average Vermont note and a very rare denomination. Ex: Eric P.
