(Circa-1869) Clinton / New York Arms Musante JAB-37, MS65 Red and Brown Bolen Copper FacsimileA magnificent Gem from a popular 19th-century medallist. The Bolen facsimile copies the rare George Clinton/New York Arms copper identified as W-5790 in the Whitman Colonial Encyclopedia. Brilliant orange luster is present on both sides of this attractive Gem that displays delicate bluish-brown toning. Three lower grade copper pieces appeared in Part XIV of the Ford sales.
