Fairbanks Counterfeit Detector Housed in Original Custom Wooden Box A nickel rocker scale, with gauging slots for U.S. silver and gold coins of all denominations from 25 cents to 20 dollars, with a black painted cast iron base. Housed in the original wooden box with drop side, gilt lettering on top and side, instruction letter not present. A printed slip of paper and a brief descriptive note from Eric P. Newman indicates this item was acquired in 1989 from "Gorlick." Patented by W.H. Harrison and manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland. Dimensions are approximately 10 x 3.7 x 2.7 inches. Ex: Eric P.
