Philadelphia, Nov. 27-28, 1891. 8vo, original gilt-printed paper covers. 64 pages; 4 fine tinted photographic plates. Both covers detached and chipped. Very good. An important sale featuring rare European coins and the notable Bridgman collection of United States silver dollars. The first plate depicts ancient gold coins, an octagonal 1852 $50 slug, an 1849 Mormon $5, and various foreign gold rarities; the second and third plates mainly illustrate rare silver European coins; and the final plate depicts the obverses of 12 of Bridgman's silver dollars.
