Rarely Available Interpol Reports on CounterfeitingSix 28 cm binders, seven 32 cm binders, and approximately 50 large envelopes, comprising all together well over 10,000 pages of heavily illustrated international reports on both genuine and counterfeit bank notes, as well as travelers' checks, coins, and other financial instruments. Reports range at least from the early 1960s to 1990s. Many of the later reports are illustrated in color. These exhaustive reports are continually updated by Interpol, and circulate mostly within the worlds of law enforcement, international banking, bank note printing, and treasury officials of governments around the world. Most of the reports here present are concerned with information on genuine notes, though many of the more modern reports in envelopes focus on counterfeit U.S. notes. They contain an extraordinary amount of information, but are rarely encountered in the numismatic world. Condition varies, but generally the reports are fine or nearly so, while the binders may be a bit worn. A rare opportunity. Estimate $750. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
