Richard Picker's Pricing Copy For the Second EditionRacine, 1967. First edition. 4to, original maroon leatherette, gilt; handwritten label on front cover reading "PICKER / PRICING." 360 pages, interleaved; illustrated. Richard Picker's annotated copy of the first edition of The Early Paper Money of America, in which he recorded changes to be made to the pricing for the second edition. Virtually every page on which pricing is reported bears revisions by Picker, who at times added cut-down pieces of legal pad paper with more extensive changes recorded. The entire volume was damp-stained at one point, making some of the pages lightly adhere. Good. Unique. Estimate $500. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
