B.G. Johnson's First Edition, First Printing Red Book Inscribed to Him by R.S. Yeoman First (1947) edition, first printing. Racine, 1946. 12mo, original red cloth, gilt. 254, (2) pages; text illustrations. Inscribed and signed by R.S. Yeoman to B.G. Johnson on page 2. A neat association copy. In this first printing, the paragraph near the bottom of page 135 concludes with "the scarcity of this date," while the second printing concludes with "the scarcity of 1903 O." Gilt decent on front cover, and somewhat faded on spine. Binding cracked at junction of pages 2 and 3, but still intact. Very good or so. Estimate $500. Ex: Eric P.
