Burdette G. Johnson's Coin Cabinet Preservation of Numismatic HistoryThis cabinet housed the inventory of B.G. Johnson's St. Louis Coin & Stamp Company, and housed portions of Eric's collection since he acquired the cabinet following Johnson's death in 1947. The outside dimensions of this green steel cabinet with brass hardware are 36 inches wide by 78 inches high by 24 inches deep. Inside are 44 wooden drawers with brass pulls. Most of those drawers are 10.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high by 18 inches deep. Above the drawers are four steel shelves. Note: this cabinet remains with the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society in St. Louis. The successful bidder will be responsible for shipping or delivery arrangements. This is an important opportunity to preserve numismatic history.
