Exceptional Group of British Counterfeit Farthings. A lot of seven George III examples that grade VF to AU, including: 1773 (2), 1774, and 1775 (4). Some examples are from the important Simian counterfeit family. A new reference, Contemporary Counterfeit Halfpenny & Farthing Families, published earlier this year identifies 53 "families" or groups of counterfeit farthings and halfpence.
