17941C Head of 1794, S-30, B-12, R.1 -- Doubled Edge Lettering, Damaged -- NGC Details. XF. Breen Die State II. The coin passed twice through the Castaing machine. HUNDRED begins both at 3 and 9 o'clock, relative to the obverse. A well-defined tan-brown cent with a cluster of marks near Liberty's profile and throat that create slightly flattened areas opposite on the reverse. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
