18851C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. Designated Red and Brown by NGC, this Gem 1885 Indian cent displays chocolate-brown color on the central obverse. Forest-green and burgundy toning resides in the obverse margins but allows glimpses of copper-orange luster to emerge. On the reverse, burgundy toning makes occasional appearances around the border, while the interior is original copper-orange. The strike is sharp and eye appeal is outstanding. Ex: Eric P.
