1914-D$20 MS64 NGC. Vibrant, satiny mint luster illuminates well-struck design elements on this near-Gem 1914-D Saint-Gaudens double eagle. A few light marks on Liberty's figure prevent Gem classification, but the fields are well-preserved. Original orange-gold and lilac hues appear over each side. This date becomes conditionally scarce in MS66, but it is available to collectors in this grade. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
