A sharp, satiny Select Mint State example of the McKinley-type Louisiana Purchase gold dollar, showing well-preserved surfaces for the grade. The coloration is original wheat-gold with greenish accents in the margins. An original Louisiana Purchase Exposition cardboard gold dollar distribution box is included with this lot. Ex: Eric P.
