1914-D$2.50 Quarter Eagle, MS61 NGC. Original olive-gold surfaces are lustrous, satiny, and display warm peach-orange hues in the design recesses. Grade-limiting abrasions are mostly trivial, although a few small individual marks are visible in the right reverse field. The mintmark is clear. 1909-D$5 Half Eagle, MS62 NGC. An ideal type coin, this Mint State 1909-D half eagle displays well-struck design elements and shimmering original luster. The olive-tinted golden surfaces have only light, unobtrusive abrasions. 1913-S$5 Half Eagle, AU53 NGC. The 1913-S is a slightly better date in high grade. This About Uncirculated piece displays original olive-gold surfaces with deeper russet tinges in the recesses of the design. An appealing collector-grade example. (Total: 3 coins) Ex: Eric P.
