With a small hole as issued, and both sides display pinscratches and hairlines; 1853 Boston School Medal MS62 NGC, Julian-SC-11, Greenslet-359, silver, plain edge, 34 mm., awarded to Thomas A. Taylor, loop attached as issued. This prooflike piece has rich tan-brown patina. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
