Group of Varied Tokens and Medals. 17 mostly large diameter bronze medals from the mid-20th century commemorate H.D. Lee, Charles Coffin, the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Vandevers department store of Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Philip Sousa, the Wright Brothers (rectangular), Henry David Thoreau, William Tecumseh Sherman, Charles A. Lindbergh, George Wharton Pepper, and others. Two crude brass medals are also included. Two silver medals include a 64 mm. medal dated 2004 for the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission, and a 38 mm sterling silver Franklin Mint medal marking the First Step on the Moon. The tokens represent Union May Stern of St. Louis, the Mercantile Money Museum (2), the Northwest Paper Company, the Saturday Evening Post, Langdon Bakery of Cincinnati, Ohio, the Genesee Valley Club (billiards) circa 1913, the Metal Arts Company (silver), General Tom Thumb, A.A. Johnson, and the First National Bank of Temple, Texas. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
