(1790s) Great Britain, Am I Not a Man and a Brother Halfpenny Token, MS64 Brown NGC. D&H-1038 Middlesex. Edge: PAYABLE IN DUBLIN. This English Conder token provided the inspiration for the HT-81 Hard Times variety struck more than 40 years later. Nicely struck and unblemished with hints of mint red in design recesses.
