1781 George III Irish Halfpenny -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. AU. 8.3 grams. Lightly worn with steel and brownish-gray toning. Light crumbling exists at the rims, but this example is otherwise sharply struck and pleasing. Many Irish halfpennies were overstruck in the Colonies, while others circulated as issued. Ex: Eric P.
