1673 Sweden Uncut Strip of Three 1/6 �re, AU55 Brown NGC. cf. COS-363A, KM254. Type of Charles XI. A rare and well-preserved strip of 1/6 �re, struck at the Avesta Mint using a roller press consisting of steel cylinders, with obverse and reverse dies on separate cylinders. Normally, the individual coins would be cut from the strip, but this specimen remains uncut and enjoys the further distinction of being fairly well-centered, suffering none of the cylinder misalignment problems that occasionally plagued the rolling process.
