M.B. Coin Scale Co. Gold and Silver Coin-Tester and Counterfeit Coin Detector. A rocker-arm balance and counterfeit coin detector in the genre of the McNally and Fairbanks & Co. scales - possibly a come-lately imitator of those successful manufacturers. It lacks any adjustment peg for gold dollars as part of the apparatus. This scale has a plain, unmarked cast iron base with the M.B. Co. imprint on the nickel-plated rocker arm.
