Description Two English Folding Sovereign Scales in Wooden Boxes. Fine to Very Fine. The first item is a brass English folding sovereign scale, housed in a hinged wooden box, with instruction letter pasted to the lid. The letters BT-SH'D and a crown are stamped on the counterweight end of the beam, with HARRISON on the neck of the beam, near the fulcrum. Two slots labeled sovereign / warranted and half sovereign are on the other side of the beam. The second item is another folding sovereign scale, housed in a hinged wooden box, with instruction letter pasted to the inside lid. A crown above the letters GR is stamped on the counterweight side of the beam, with a hole in the crown. HARPER is inscribed on the neck of the beam, over the fulcrum, and two pans labeled sovereign / warranted and half sovereign are on the other end of the beam.
