Large Assortment of Weights and Weight Sets. The complete set includes eight puck weights - three 1 dkg, one 2 dkg, one 5 dkg, two 10 dkg, and one one 20 dkg. The weights are housed in a drilled and routed wooden box with weak hinges and a strong latch. The box measures 5.4 x 2.7 x 1.9 inches. The partial set is missing two of the 1 dkg weights and the 5 dkg weight. As in the complete set, the weights are housed in an old drilled and routed wooden box with intact hinges and a weak latch. The remnant of an old label on the lid of the box is mostly torn off and unreadable. The box measures 5.4 x 2.7 x 1.8 inches. Also included are three partial sets of 19th century nested weights; four corroded lead (?) weights; a set of 13 English custom house weights attributed to Henry Troemner; and a group of 18 brass cylinder weights. Additional items include apothecary weights, coin weights, and related items, old and new. Included are 127 brass and aluminum weights (within this grouping is a set of four brass weights stamped 1R, 2R, 4R, and 8R). Condition ranges from fair to excellent. Ex: Eric P.
