Attributed Lot of British Coin Weights. Authors Paul and Bente Withers identified thousands of varieties of British coin weights produced in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Including designs from simple to complex, these coin weights were produced to aid merchants that weighed gold and silver coinage received during the course of business. This lot includes 86 pieces, each attributed to the Withers reference. Grades range from Fair to XF. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
