Johnson Lightning Change Maker. Incomplete. A second Johnson "Lightning Change Maker," from the Johnson Fare Box Co. of Chicago, Illinois. An array of 28 typewriter style keys, set up for left-handed users, was designed to release change from eight coin stacks through a hinged receptacle on the side. Unfortunately, the change stacks are missing from this machine. It has a gray metal body, and the round red and black label on the back shows the lightning bolt logo. A short descriptive note from Eric P. Newman accompanies the lot. Dimensions are approximately 12.3 x 12.5 x 11 inches. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
