Brandt's Automatic Cashier, Missing Coin Rack. A typewriter-style coin dispenser, manufactured by the Brandt Automatic Cashier Company, Watertown, Wisconsin. The body is nickel-plated, with a griffin design on the sides. A complex array of keys triggers the various coins stacks to deliver the desired change (unfortunately, the coin stacks are missing). Used in banks, casinos, and other businesses in the early 20th century. Measurements are: approximately 9 x 14 x 11.3 inches; with Brandt Free-Standing Coin Sorting Tray. Very Good. A nickel or steel coin sorting - counting tray from the Brandt Automatic Cashier Company, Watertown, Wisconsin. The tray has legs to enable it to stand freely, but it might also be attached to a mechanical counter. Approximately 10 x 5 x 11 inches with legs opened. Ex: Eric P.
