German Standard-Rapid Coin Counter. Good. A mid-20th century hand cranked, belt driven coin counter, made by Standardwerk E. Reis Bruchsal, West Germany, and distributed in the U.S. by Western Distributors. The heavy, gray metal unit has a perforated lid and four short, rubber-padded legs. The gray painted surface shows some nicks and scrapes, and the hand crank is missing. Approximately 14 x 10.5 x 10 inches when closed. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
