Text browned, but very good. A later edition of the useful Fenning publication. [with] Several Additional Works on Practical Mathematics for Business and Related Topics. Includes: Requisite Tables in Acquiring a Knowledge of Arithmetic (c. 1812); Porters' New System of Mathematics (1843); Walsh's A New System of Mercantile Arithmetic (1804); and four editions of Adams's A Scholar's Arithmetic (1812, 1814, 1816, and 1827). Generally very good, with a couple of exceptions. Works of this type were indispensable in the conduct of commerce in the early days of the Republic. Estimate $200. Ex: Eric P.
