Potter, Elisha R. Emissions of Colonial Currency, in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Included in the October 1845 issue of the National Magazine (Vol. I, No. 5, edited by Redwood Fisher), the entire issue of which is present [Potter's article is found on pages 403-415. 8vo, original printed paper covers. A rare early work on Colonial paper money. Potter was the author of an 1837 pamphlet on Rhode Island paper money generally regarded as the earliest such work. Spine a bit worn; very good.
