Folio [41 by 25.5 cm], later black leather-backed boards. 40 + 22 pages; 36 finely engraved plates of medals, arranged 22 + 9 + 1 + 2 + (1) + 1, with the plate following the 9 serving both as plate 10 for Queen Anne and plate 1 for George I, whose second plate is the one at the very end. Scarce. Very good. The scarce separate printing of the plates that accompanied Tindal's popular English translation of Rapin's Histoire. Estimate $100. Ex: Eric P.
