Bridgeport, 1854. 16mo, somewhat later blue half calf with marbled sides; spine with five raised bands, ruled, lettered, and decorated in gilt; red and black morocco lettering pieces, gilt; decorative endpapers; 223, (1) pages, title woodcut engraving of the author. Binding worn, with head chipped and joints weak, but sound. Some considerable browning and staining. Very good or so. An early and detailed account of making and passing counterfeit bank notes. Rare.
