La Banque (Royale) January 1, 1720 1000 Livres SCWPM# A18b. PCGS About New 53. A choice, infrequently encountered Banque Royale 1,000 Livres note. This is a broad, full and sharp-looking note. A visible vertical fold and some handling are the only flaws. Some faint right end foxing is all that keeps it from being a full PPQ note. There were only two examples in the 2005 Ford VIII sale, both inferior to this gorgeous note; they realized $1,150 and $1,495.
