Massachusetts October 16, 1778 2 Pence Fr. MA-254. PCGS Choice New 63. This is from the second date and back style for the Revere "Codfish" bills. The October 16, 1778 notes with the Thomas Fleet backs are sometimes encountered in choice condition and were once part of cut off notes from leftover three note strips.
