Description Pennsylvania June 1, 1780 $4 Fr. PA-236. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent. New York and Pennsylvania Guaranteed by the United States type notes are more rare than those from other states. The series, federally backed, created notes to redeem Continental currency and to serve other purposes. This is fully signed on the face with two signatures and countersigned on the back by Richard Bache. The back color is strong and it is noted with a "Small Internal Split at Center" only.
