"Emperor Norton" (1956) ? Season 4, Episode 21, of Death Valley Days
Numismatic content:
Scenes from 17:16 to 20:04, and 20:37 to 22:46, depicting usage of Emporer Norton promissory notes. The clearest reference to the Emperor's scrip is from 17:16 to 20:04, with the dialogue about the scrip — between the newspaper editor, his printer and one of Norton's former partners in the rice deal — starting at 18:33. Among other things, it has the printer using the "chancellor of the exchequer" line that the Emperor's real-life printer, Charles Murdock, included in his 1921 memoir.
