The Numismatist

The standard bearer of the American numismatic scene, The Numismatist has been continuously published by the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1888.  A full run is a foundational item for any numismatic library, with the first six volumes being especially prized.

Newman Portal acknowledges the ANA for granting full-view access for all issues through 2002. For issues from 2003 to date, online access to The Numismatist is provided by the ANA at https://www.money.org/thenumismatist/digitalarchives. Brief "snippets" will appear in NNP search results, and the reader is referred to the ANA site for full-view access.
