B. Max Mehl's prices paid for list, one of the best selling numismatic works of all time, apart from the Guide Book of U.S. Coins. Originally The Star Coin Book, then succeeded by The Star Rare Coin Encyclopedia. At least 61 editions exist. The best enumeration of the series appears to be at https://www.coinbooks.org/esylum_v06n29a09.html. A 2014 Kolbe fixed price list included a set of five deluxe editions (1932-1936) thought to be Mehl's personal copies (https://archive.org/details/fixedprice2014kolb).
